method execCmd

This method executes a command against the the DHTML control. There is a predefined list of commands that can be executed against the control. A list of each command and what it does is found below.

• appendHTML - Appends the HTML markup provided as string argument.
• appendText - Appends the text provided as string argument.
• backColor - Sets the text background color to the specified input color name.
• background - Sets the document background picture or color.
• bold - Toggles the bold attribute at cursor or current selection.
• clear - Clears the current document.
• copy - Copies the selection to the clipboard.
• cut - Cuts the selection to the clipboard.
• delete - Deletes the selection or item at cursor.
• edit - Sets the editable mode to the specified input boolean value.
• fontName - Sets the font name at cursor or selection to the specified input string.
• fontSize - Sets the font size at cursor or selection to the specified HTML size 1 to 7.
• foreColor - Sets the text foreground color at cursor or selection to the specified input color.
• hyperlink - Hyperlinks the current selection to the specified input URL.
• indent - Increases by one increment the indentation at cursor or selection.
• insertHR - Inserts a HR element at cursor or selection.
• insertHTML - Inserts the input string markup at cursor or selection.
• insertImage - Inserts the image specified by the input URL at cursor or selection.
• insertText - Inserts the input text at cursor or selection.
• italic - Toggles the italic attribute at cursor or current selection.
• justifyCenter - Justifies center at cursor or selection.
• justifyLeft - Justifies left at cursor or selection.
• justifyRight - Justifies right at cursor or selection.
• moveCaret - Moves the caret to the specified position, 0: begin, 1 end.
• orderedList - Toggles the text selection between an ordered list and a normal format block.
• outdent - Decreases by one increment the indentation at cursor or selection.
• overWrite" - Toggles the text-entry mode between insert and overwrite.
• paste - Pastes the content of the clipboard at cursor ar selection.
• print - Prints the current document using default print template.
• redo - Redoes the last undone action.
• refresh - Refresh the content of the document.
• removeFormat - Removes the formatting tags from the current selection.
• saveAs - Saves the current HTML page to a file.
• selectAll - Selects the entire document.
• stop - Stop the loading of the document.
• underline - Toggles the underline attribute at cursor or current selection.
• undo - Restores the document to the state before the last change.
• unlink - Removes the hyperlink at cursor or current selection.
• unorderedList - Toggles the text selection between an ordered list and a normal format block.
• unselect - Unselects the current selection.
